Deleting your data
You can delete your KitchenDrop account and everything in it yourself, at any time, from the portal. You don't need to ask us.
How to delete your account
- Sign in at the KitchenDrop portal.
- Open My account and go to the Account section.
- Next to Delete account, choose Delete and confirm.
To delete a single restaurant and keep your login, delete that restaurant from its settings in the portal. The same things are removed, for that restaurant only.
What is deleted
- Your login and every restaurant you own.
- Every post, draft, render, photo and video you sent or we made, including files in storage.
- Staff profiles, their face photos and recorded voice samples. Voice clones are also deleted at our voice provider, ElevenLabs. Our video provider, fal.ai, holds nothing to delete: it keeps no copy of what we send it, and the clips it makes expire within an hour.
- Menus, deals, booking links, chat history, notes and suggestions.
- Our service records of the steps each post and message took, including the parts of what was sent to our AI providers that we keep for 30 days, and any test case we kept from a post that went badly.
- Linked accounts: your Instagram and TikTok connections are disconnected at our publishing provider, PostPeer, and the access you gave for Boost is revoked at Meta.
- Your subscription is canceled first, so you are not charged again.
If any of this can't be deleted at that moment, nothing is removed and the portal tells you, so you can try again. Your account is never half deleted.
What is not deleted
- Posts already published to Instagram or TikTok stay on those accounts. Delete them there.
- Ad campaigns already running on Meta keep running. Stop them in Meta Ads Manager.
- Billing records held by our payment processor, Stripe, which it keeps as the law requires.
- A record that a phone number replied STOP, so we keep honouring it.
Anything else
To ask for a copy of your data, or for anything you can't do yourself in the portal, email [email protected]. Our privacy policy says what we keep and who else sees it.
Staff who recorded their voice
Anyone who recorded their voice or face through an invite link can withdraw it themselves from the same link, without the restaurant's owner. Their voice clone is deleted at ElevenLabs.
